Cannot choose files to download in torrent

Why can not I select the files you want to download in the torrent?

I open the torrent file and the download starts immediately.

I can not choose either locally or what files I download from a torrent

Which version of uTorrent are you using. You need to be using at least version 3.2 beta 27138 or later.

I would strongly recommend updating to the version I am using. I never touched any of the 3.1 series of uTorrent as read all kinds of stuff on them. Then someone kindly mentioned the 3.2 beta version and mentioned you can select files from it, so I downloaded it and have had no problems. When clicking Magnet link it a little box will open, as used to be the case. You will see this tab that seems to be going around and around and after a little while it will bring all the files up, as used to be the case. This option does not work in any of the 3.1 series of uTorrent. There is a newer version than the one I mentioned, but there appears to be issues with that at the moment and so I am going to hang on a while with the one I now have.

Make sure you're in the "advanced" view. There's a view toggle button in the upper-right corner.

Otherwise, you won't ever see the dialog to pick a save directory.
