Acester Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 I'm trying to set up an RSS feed in uTorrent, I never have done this before and it sounds very convenient. I've added a feed and I do see a very large list of shows. (the feed is from TPB) If I double click on one of the shows or right click and select download, I get an error message that says Unable to load "*": Invalid Torrent File!Where the * is, put the name of the show there.I'm going to set up a filter after this for automatic downloading, but I can't even download in the first place. If I right click on one of the shows in the list, and click Open URL in browser, it takes me to the page and I can download the torrent no problem.Thanks.
DreadWingKnight Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 So does the feed you're using link the download page or the torrent/magnet itself?
rafi Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 @Acester: All TPB feeds - are now pure magnets (no torrent files). You better find yourself some other "normal" feed to start with...like - http://rss.bt-chat.com/?group=3... tho, it should work with TPB as well... slower..
rafi Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 PS: 3.2 crashes when trying to manually download from TPB RSS, #111 on my issues-list (sent to Arvid today) includes more details and a dump...
Acester Posted May 15, 2012 Author Report Posted May 15, 2012 Ooooh. That makes sense.. but does that mean you can't use TPB as an RSS feed at all? Why do they still offer their RSS feed? :SAlso, here is the RSS feed for those interested: http://rss.thepiratebay.se/205Edit: I just tried the EZTV rss feed, and it works fine. So it appears the issue is with TPB not hosting torrents anymore, just magnets. Is there anyway to get those to work? Or should I just stick with alternative feeds? Thanks for the help.
