My torrent files open automaticaly with 7 zip

When i download a torrent files it opens automaticaly with 7 zip, and i cant change it to open with utorrent. I have to manually go in to utorrent and click add torrent. When i choose open with with my torrent files, and choose utorrent, nothing happens. Why is this?

Assuming you're in Windows:

When you choose Open With and choose uTorrent, are you checking the tick box at the bottom which says 'Always use the selected program to open this type of file'?

Also, have you tried doing it at the Windows level (assuming Windows 7, follow steps 2): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/change-which-programs-windows-uses-by-default

If that doesn't work, uTorrent might not be registered properly. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Otherwise Google is your friend.
