I was wondering if on the general tab when now torrents are high lighted if:

elapse time utorrent's been on cunnent session

elapse time utorrent's been on since installtion

total upload current session

total uplaod since installtion

total download current session

total download since installtion

That would be awesome.

They are pointless, but I don't see much bloat and very little resources going into it. I love reading stats.

Yes, stats are a bliss to control freaks and we all have some of that (or a lot) within us.

But excessive stats make for a confusing experience while torrenting ("which one do I pay attention to??? what is this number for??? Oh man, I'm overloaded with so much info, please somebody help!"). And also can bring a lot of unnecessary grief ("why why why is this number high/low???, Is it a problem??? Please oh please tell me if there is something wrong!").

I look at stats the same way a jet fighter pilot looks at his cockpit. What do I need to know to get the job done. Show me nothing more, nothing less. There might even be a lot to show but each stat has a reason to be.

Please don't throw in stats, graphs, tables and whatnots just for the sake of it. And please tame the control freak monster within you, and accept the fact that you do not control the world.

It dosent seem useless to me. I think that its very nesscary. It will bring in more people.
