find it in the ProgramFiles folder.I have had issues that settings won't save and figured that an uninstall may do the trick.After downloading a new exe from the utorrent site it simply starts the jackatwo Posted May 22, 2012 Report Share Posted May 22, 2012 if you download this you might find the utorrent in the revohttp://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_full_version_history.html and install revo uninstaller to your computer there is a free version or use the professional one for 30 days, it is an excellent program.when you uninstall use iether the advanced settings or moderate settings, take your time and read each time a page opens for you, it looks frightening but check all the boxes when it asks you to delete, this will take all the settings out of your registry and allow for a brand new install of utorrent.IT WILL NOT EFFECT YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM OR ANY OTHER PROGRAMSthere could be some thing corrupt in the Utorrent its self and if you can get an older utorrent to download better still (the new one is not a good one as a lot of people are having problems with it)just to give you an idea on how good revo uninstaller is, I use it some times when I download a 30 day trail program and then delete it after that with revo and redownload it or reinstall another 30 day trail with no problems,I use the advances settings for revo to delete every thing a program downloads to the pcI never use windows uninstallerlet me know how you go with it. specially if this is a success Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
