Firon
You shouldn't put that IP in either of them. And don't double post.
Telefax1723
Hi. I'm new to µTorrent and I have a similar problem, that is, I don't even exactly know what the problem is...I get the same message when running that port checker. How do you forward a port? I have µTorrent in the firewall exceptions list, but the µTorrent status light remains yellow...Does anybody have a clue?btw: System Windows XPAntivirus: Norton 2006, an ADSL connection. I don't know if that helps...And sorry for this (probably) stupid question, but I didn't find anything about this in the FAQ...
Ultima
So you correctly followed all the information at portforward.com?
Torrentfan
Sorry bout the dbl post. Funny thing happened,I had my utorrent program in disk 2,and I copied and pasted a shortcut on desktop in disk1.A few days ago I transfered all my downloads into another harddisk and removed it from my pc.Then I found that utorrent client could not be found when I clicked on the shortcut,so I downloaded and used the beta version. When I start utorrent, the ball is light yellow but after a while it turns to red and remains that colour. It is funny that the download is still running and at times when there are about 40+ peers, speed can hit 30kBs and I can finish downloading the torrent.Anyone has any idea on this? Ultima
Red doesn't mean it'll be slow. Red means you can't take incoming connections. If you get lucky and find fast peers solely with outgoing connections, you can still get good speeds.
