uTorrent Not Starting (all of a sudden)

I've been using utorrent for years, with no problems. All of a sudden (no changes as far as I know) it won't start any more. I get the Windows 7 "uTorrent has stopped working. Windows can check online..."

I have run a full virus scan (AVGFree) and everything is normal. Running an uninstall doesn't work - I get exactly the same dialog. Trying to install over the top of it - same dialog. Any ideas?

Seriously having the same problem. I cant open/uninstall/install or anything... WTF is going on.

I have the same problem. I try to start uTorrent and I get a crash. I've downloaded version 3.2-beta and I started getting the same error, then i've downloaded version 3.3-alpha and now the installer program starts succesfully, so I installed the software and I close the program. I execute installer of version 3.2-beta without any problem, so I closed the program again and I tryed to run the version 3.1.3 installer. The program shows the installer procedure, "next, next, next" and voilá, uTorrent 3.1.3 build 27220 runs again. I have Windows 7 64bits and (for now) a running installation of uTorrent 3.1.3 (32 bits)...

TheMaaG, I tried that method and it worked. The Beta install also had the same crashing problem, so I installed the Alpha ok. Then shut down and went straight to the 3.1.3 and it is now working.

Having so many problem with utorrent 3.1.3. I am installing but nothing is coming and its taking auto internet speed. :-/ Whats wrong with it????

go and delete the program files, then attempt to uninstall it and ur computer will recoginize its no longer there, then use Ccleaner and run a registry clean up and u might see that were is a utorrent.shell error, FIX IT, then redownload and install utorrent, that worked for me atleast
