How do I go back to prior version

Version 3.1.3 crashed from the first time I used it, and it continues to stop working. The version prior to that never gave me problems. I used to run UTorrent all night long and most of the day without difficulties. I have several long running torrents on it now. Is there a way I can delete 3.1.3, go back to the prior version, and then resume downloading the torrents I have now? If so how is this done? I really don’t want to lose the progress I have made on some of these, but version 3.1.3 is terrible.

Obviously I am new to this, so please be patient if this is a dumb question. Thank you in advance to all who help.

Instead of going back to the last version, install the latest 3.2 beta version. The 3.1.3 stable version has indeed had a huge number of issues, the vast majority of these have been sorted in the latest 3.2 beta version. A bonus is that you can also select what files you want before they are loaded into the utorrent program.

Mac. I tried to download the 3.2, but I was told I have to close U-Torrent. I assume that means I have to exit from it. Will I lose the torrents I am currently downloading if I do that? The older version of UTorrent always worked so well that I never had to close the program or worry about upgrades.

Dreadwing, I am not asking for “support” per se, I just want to go back to a version that does not always crash. 3.1.3 is constantly failing. Thank you for continued advice.

No.

What you claim to be asking for and what your post is actually asking for are two different things. We don't support ANYTHING to do with older versions except upgrading to current.

But if this version crashes why not go back to the prior version which I know works perfectly. I NEVER had a problem till I "upgraded."
