message reads "It seems like utorrent is already running, but not responding. Please close all utorrent processes and try again". How can I close any processes if I cannot open them to start off with.

I have deleted all forms of utorrent and re-downloaded. works for a very short time, and then unable to bring up on main screen once in tray. Please advise, anyone!!!

What version of utorrent are you using, what firewall, what antivirus and what windows system. Have you just updated to the version you are using, if so, which version were you using before.

I'm having the same issue too. I was using "stable" 3.1.3. But it wasn't "stable" and had HIGH cpu usage and would lock up when I downloaded a bunch of torrents. So I updated to beta RC 5 v3.2. Now I'm having this issue since "updating" to the beta 3.2. I haven't investigated much into why this is happening yet, but I'll post if I find something.

stable...not stable...we're all beta testers in the end...

Alright, I did an experiment. I closed the program and ran it again as I did before. I selected "Run as administrator" and granted UAC access in Windows 7 like before. And the new torrent additions wouldn't work.

Then I closed the program and ran it normally, with UAC set to default. Then the new torrent additions worked.

Note to uTorrent programmers; Fix the permission issues between running with UAC access and without UAC access.

But thank you all programmers and designers involved in uTorrent. Thanks for your hard effort throughout the years. I'm still an avid user and promoter of uTorrent.
