chiefo
This isn't so much a question as it is a desperate heartfelt plea from someone who's fairly tech savvy and doesn't post on forums too often. Is there any chance of getting the upload speed limit settings to actually work? I've tried countless variations and combinations of settings, tinkered with the scheduler, read guides and tutorials, downloaded recommended settings files and installed different versions of the software, all to no avail, uTorrent insists on having all my upload speed to itself. This is incredibly frustrating, and means I cant use it during the day because no one else in the house is able to use the internet. It really cant be that difficult to implement properly.I'm using a Windows 7 Ultimate x86 machine, currently using version 3.0 because all my trackers have banned 3.1, and using rafi's settings.dat file.Oh and uTorrent Remote works maybe one in every ten times, and is excruciating slow, but that's probably a question for another forum. Mac-the-Knife
I don't think you'll get a lot of help with the 3.0 as they will probably tell you it's no longer supported. I would however suggest installing the latest 3.2 beta version of utorrent. The latest 3.1.3 stable version of utorrent has a vast amount of issues and many of these have been addressed in the 3.2 beta versions, the added bonus is that you can also sellect files downloaded through magnet links before they are installed in the utorrent program. If you try the beta and it sorts out your problem then be sure to post back so others will know.
