greypoet
Windows XP SP3utorrent 1.8.3WD My book essential 2Tb external driveI've been using utorrent for a few years with few problems. Ran out of room on my internal drives and had to migrate all torrents to external drive. Since then, when ever I have to reboot computer I lose all my .torrent (small green box) files. Had to down grade to 1.8.3 for specific file sharing site and it has been working fine. but since moving to external drive I have been having this problem. Searched whole computer for .torrents and found none. What could be the cause of this and how do I fix it?Thank you.jim
DreadWingKnight
Had to down grade to 1.8.3 for specific file sharing site1> not supported2> that site wants you to use a version that has confirmed security exploits.
greypoet
Well, Ive been using it for a couple years now on that site as well as a good anti virus, firewall and malware blocker with no security issues. Also, according to some of the questions I read on search, I'm not the only one using it.The problem is not with the specific version but with the issue of not saving .torrent files after reboot. That just started.
DreadWingKnight
It doesn't matter. We don't provide support for old versions.
