Help Me? I think Utorrent disconnected my internet

1.downloaded utorrent

2.went to pirate bay to start downloading goofy movie

3.ate some food

4.came back 30 minutes later, it had stopped downloading at 83 percent and estimated time remaining was infinity

5. at this point, i couldn't access internet on any computer. My computers say im connected to the router but that its an "unsecured network

6. tried resetting router a bunch of times with no results

7. uninstalled utorrent

8. tried pluggling directly into the modem ,allowed internet access for every computer except the one utorrent was installed on

This seems like a very strage and uncommon problem, im not sure what would cause this, but if anyone could tell me what they think is going on i would be very greatful

Whenever I've had that over the years, it's been easy to fix as follows.

1) open up the device manager from the Control panel > system

2) DISABLE the network adapter

3) Enable the network adapter.

If you're on a laptop, with wifi, sometimes just turning the wifi adapter off and back on again works
