marcomalo
There is a checkbox on the preferences tab that should allow a content box to open prior to downloading the entire torrent. This allows a selection of the content rather than the entire torrent to download.Short story, I can't get to work. It has worked, but now will. I have downloaded upgrades, etc., don't all I know how to do. Any suggestions?
sparker781
Are you using magnet links or are you clicking on the torrent link? If your using magnet links by default they will not open the dialog box, it will put the torrent into uTorrent and start downloading where at this point you can click on the torrent when its downloading and click the files tab at the bottom and whatever you don't want to download right click and choose "don't download" and it will therefore skip the file in question. if your choosing the torrent file link itself and that dialog doesn't work, then I'd wait to see if someone else has anything.Good Luck
Mac-the-Knife
Magnet link do open in a box to view files in the 3.2 beta versions, but not in the earlier releases. You don't mention what version of the program you are using or what what browser you are using.

Though I've gotten used to using magnet links without the dialog. Guess they finally collapsed to all the pressure?
Mac-the-Knife
I would suggest to anyone using any of the 3.1 versions of utorrent to update to the latest 3.2 beta version. The 3.1 versions had quite a lot of issues that have been sorted in the 3.2 and, according to the latest news on the site, a 3.2 stable version will be released shortly. marcomalo
I am using 3.2 on Mozilla Firefox. The browser has never been an issue. There is a checkbox for this feature and it worked at one time. It is a pain the ass to download a huge torrent for just a file or two on it.
