altquixote Posted July 2, 2012 Report Share Posted July 2, 2012 Today I got a pop-up message saying a new stable version 3.1.3 was available and asking if I wanted to update. I clicked ok and it installed. Then I saw that my Firefox had acquired a 'uTorrent control toolbar'. This is a big inconvenience, as I use a 10" netbook and my screen area is uncomfortably small as it is. So I went to Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP) and uninstalled the toolbar. But even after system restart, the toolbar is still there in Firefox, though it doesn't appear in Add or Remove Programs now. What do I do??
