YoYo25
Hello,I am relatively new to uTorrent....so a question about an alert I get whenever I perform the Network and Configuration test. When ever I do it...the Bandwidth test is perfect (I get green V) but the Network part doesn't get the green V but a yellow one with a star on the side and it says "Results: Port is not open (but you are still able to download)".What does it mean? what can I do to make it work? The current port is 18352 (random port it says).I am using Windows 7 (X64 bit) and Norton 360 (version 6) as my internet security.Thank you for your help and advice,YoYo
jbebad
If you use a random port and a router, how is the router going to forward connections? Are you going to modify your router firewall every time you change to a new port? Setup a range of ports (all possible ports that uTorrent will pick) to have your router foward it? Hmmmmm

Kitsoran
Uncheck random, port range is, unless a section exists for single ports, just the listen port for both start and end range. portforward.com has guides on portforwarding by router, Edimax is probably covered.
