utorrent is getting bloated

I just want to share my experience with utorrent.

I have been using it since it came out mainly because other clients where unfriendly or consumed a lot of resources (like Java based azureus). It was a superb client, offering exactly what i needed (simple list of active torrents, speed chart, and effective speed limit). It was super fast and reliable.

Nowadays I am getting VERY disappointed with it. With your wish to monetize the product, the utorrent got very bloated (filled with many features which most of the users do not need), it has become slow (takes considerable amount of time to start - considering that PCs are 10x faster, compared to the times when utorrent was created) and crashes (I used 3.1.2 and now 3.1.3 on Win 7 and very often after adding some new torrent it simply stops responding).

If you would compare the new utorrent with a car it would look something like this. The company would remove the very reliable engine, replace it with an engine that breaks down every 1000km, but would offer you cinema integrated in the car windows and a refrigerator for cold drinks. Now where is the problem? The problem is, that you primary use the car for driving and if it does not do it's primary job, it is pretty much useless, regardless of the extra fancy features. And this is similar to what has happened with utorrent.

I am sorry for my negative comment, but I can not help my self not to express my sadness about how the greed of some people destroyed what once was a great piece of software.

So guys, please make it modern, but simple, minimalistic and most importantly: reliable!

Also, installed 3.2 today:

Set homepage to utorrent, install utorrent toolbar, install some game, install some shield software?!? WHY? I need utorrent and that is IT.

I guess i should start looking for a new new client.
