1c3d0g
Since the future of computing is going to be heavily mutli-threaded (AMD + Intel have loads of dual core CPU's on the way, and later on quad core CPU's etc. are in the pipelines), will there be any plans to make µTorrent multi-threaded? Or is it already (partly) multi-threaded? :? I imagine this would speed up the client even more, possibly make the program manage multiple torrents even better and give the user an overall smoother experience. vurlix
µTorrent is multithreaded already. It uses separate threads for GUI, networking, dns lookup and disk i/o

PAStheLoD
Dual cores, hyper threading and such are the responsibility of the Operating System, the scheduling of threads is the job of the kernel ..
