ciaobaby
I have noticed that ver 3.1.3 is not showing any active seeds once a torrent is completed. seeds show 0(nnn) Is this a "by design" behaviour or a setting I can change somewhere?I have tested this three times (once a glitch, twice a coincidence, three is a bug) by leaving one file out of the download, allowing the torrent to complete then downloading the missing file. When the status returns to "Downloading" active seeds will show x(nnn) again.
DreadWingKnight
It is a protocol-level design. If you're seeding, there is no point in wasting the resources maintaining connections to seeds. There is no way to change this.
ciaobaby
Cheers, makes sense and what I had assumed was the reason for the change. Though it does make it a little a little more difficult to decide if and when to stop seeding, as you have no idea If you are the only one still active with a "less than popular" download, and as such would be useful to have as a UI option. DreadWingKnight
Cheers, makes sense and what I had assumed was the reason for the change.uTorrent has never maintained connections to other seeds while seeding. There was no change.
ciaobaby
Ok, and I was sure I had seen that in earlier version which was why it had me puzzled? No problem, I'll chalk it up to having another/a "senior moment"
