vinpan Posted July 26, 2012 Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 im knew to this, but from what i can understand, torrent is sponsoring this annoying ad enabler/virusi went to http://torrentz.eu/, searched up a specific textbook for a course im about to take,results came in, 3 different results, all with titles EXACTLY what i was searching for. all 3 was under "sponsored links". i clicked on each result, all of them resembled this website:http://www.mymediafinder.com/download2.php?p=1021&file=physics_6th_edition&r=1i downloaded it, and what i thought was a textbook, was actually a software, the download program looked like this: http://i.imgur.com/UPfnK.pngafter installation, my computer acted weird. chrome shut down automatically, etcnow, my facebook and youtube are filled with extra annoying ads with sounds. extremely intrusive and annoying. please tell me how to get rid of this. jbebad Posted July 26, 2012 Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 Did you do a complete virus scan of your computer? Did you perform a virus scan on the program prior to installing it?
