Drogan Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 I'm posting this here because there's 2 subjects about VCom (that I found, maybe more, not sure) and since double posts aren't recommended I want everyone to see this. Now, I don't know if this will work for everyone, but it's worked for me. After running µTorrent and receiving the incompatibility issue, I uninstalled VCom. After doing so and running without it for a bit, I reinstalled VCom SS6 and disabled all auto-run features so it would not run in the background (no system tray icon). After doing this and making sure it would not load at windows startup at all I ran µTorrent and it's working just perfectly. As I said, this may not work for everyone, but it worked for me. Happy µTorrent-ing everyone!
Ultima Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Um, why would you want to install it and not allow it to start up? You might as well not have it installed at all O.o
b003 Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 I've recently run into this problem myself. As to whether to uninstall it or stop it from loading with windows. I wonder if you could keep it dormant and still manually activate some of the features. I mean if you've already paid for it.
