Have to Force Start Downloads

Hey guys,

So whenever I attempt to download a torrent, the download begins in the "Stopped" state. If I click "Start," nothing happens-- only when I click "Force Start" does the torrent actually begin to download. I'm actually not familiar with what the difference is, but as I said, it only works when I force start it. It's not really a huge problem, just a minor inconvenience and I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong.

Oh yeah-- and I've just started running into this problem a couple of weeks ago. I've not changed any Firewall or AV settings. Same OS (Windows 7) that I've had sine I began using uTorrent.

Mine does that too, but not on every torrent. It will get the Seeders and Peers, download a K or two, then say STOPPED. I then just have to start it again, not using the force start option though. I have no idea what it is, it just started doing it last month.

You're using magnets.

Just use the regular start.

Update to latest 3.2.1 beta version, the 3.2 stable has a bug that has been reported as not starting downloads automatically, this has been fixed in the 3.2.1 beta version.

If you scroll up to read my OP, you'll see I've stated that it doesn't work when I just use the regular start. Also, you've not contributed at all to helping me understand/fix my problem. If you're going to be rude, please just don't even bother.
