transvin Posted September 4, 2012 Report Share Posted September 4, 2012 while downloading a torrent file, the internet goes down for other applications except uTorrent. I use a modem + Wifi router. The problem occurs only when I am connected to internet using both the devices.When I use only the modem, the torrents get downloaded and I can surf web smoothly.Does anyone know how to configure the router settings to avoid this problem?thanks. I have a broadband connection of 1mbps unlimited that comes through the hardline phone cable. I have a PPPOE type continuous WAN output to the router that takes in the internet and shares over its output with 4 ethernet ports by a Dynamic type connection.
