false_chicken Posted September 12, 2012 Report Share Posted September 12, 2012 When I used Utorrent on Windows I would set my proxy up for BTGuard, And to test it was working I liked to mess up the info in some way (wrong password, change server address, Etc) and if it didnt download I felt protected and got confirmation that it was working. I recently set up a Utorrent linux server to download everything (3.0 build 27079) and set up the proxy setting in the same way however it downloads no matter what I change! Like the proxy isnt even being used. Is this normal? Because it doesnt work that way in Windows (As far as I know). Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
