unshackled Posted September 14, 2012 Report Share Posted September 14, 2012 I pay monthly for an HTTPS proxy that I use in my browsers. I'm trying to use the same proxy in utorrent but I can't tell if it's working. I tried testing it by putting a wrong password in the proxy settings, restarting utorrent, and beginning a new torrent and it worked fine, uploading and downloading like normal. I feel like it shouldn't work if it's configured to work through a proxy that is configured incorrectly. Am I misunderstanding how utorrent interacts with a proxy?
