Elnicko Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 I just got a new computer and the download speeds are pretty low.On my previous computer I was downloading at around 9-10mb/s but on this new computer the best I have seen is 2mb/s max.If I go onto my old pc now the speeds will be fine but still slow on the new one, I have ran threw the setup guide but it hasn't made any difference.Any ideas on what would be slowing it down on this new pc? Elnicko Posted September 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 I am running windows 7 64bitNo anti virus, no firewall and windows firewall is disabled as is defenderI was trying to use the 3.2 stable build but I read in another post that it was giving some people trouble and they suggested changing to 3.2.1 beta, so currently I am using 3.2.1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mac-the-Knife Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 Firstly, I wouldn't recommend running any computer with no firewall or antivirus, especially when downloading. Windows firewall should be o.k. with uTorrent as there is a tick box in preferences somewhere to allow it. There are plenty of free firewalls and antivirus programs that work fine with utorrent, I use Comodo free firewall and Avast free antivirus. The only other thing I can think of you trying that worked for someone else is to try the 3.3 Alpha and see if that works. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mac-the-Knife Posted September 24, 2012 Report Share Posted September 24, 2012 If you've tried the 3.2 stable, 3.2.1 beta and the 3.3 alpha, then I'm all out of ideas.
