Presence
Agreed: after updating to alpha 3.3 b28038, the Upload Rate limit settings in Options/Preferences/Bandwidth, or by setting a torrent's Bandwidth Allocation, seems to have no effect at all in limiting the upload rate. From another thread:As far as I can tell - the bug is with the upload speed limiter of uTP connections, so all we need to do (for now...) for upload speeds over ~500K to disable (un-check):Pref->bandwidth->Apply rate limit to uTP connectionsI tried this -- it had no effect. I have "enable bandwidth management (uTP)" disabled, too; always have before.
rafi
and form yet another thread:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=684282#p684282Confirmed sad The upload limiter seems to be totally broken now! and it is also slower in seeding (or keeping them connected)The above is true for local peers @ 3.2.1 RC
ofpirate
My observation is that the actual ongoing up speed isn't even being properly reported to the UI.. Irregardless of ongoing speeds being displayed, the upload is flat-out & maxed-out!
