jorgelr
I'm running µTorrent 3.2 on Windows and have now tried to set up filtering and automatic download on an RSS-feed. I have set up an RSS-feed, where the only thing I have done, is added the filter "*mp4" I have not checked any other boxes (including the "Don't start downloads auto.."), or put any other info into any other fields. So I hoped µTorrent would automatically start downloading Modern.Family.S04E01.HDTV.x264-2HD.mp4. Alas it does not. But it is in the list of torrents in the RSS-feed, and if I right click it and manually start it, it downloads ok. If I change my filter to just "*" then downloads start automatically and everything is peachy. So I assume there is something wrong with how I specify "*mp4" - but I can't seem to figure out what it is. I would be very thankful if anyone could give me a pointer on how to solve this:)
ciaobaby
Update to 3.2.1the filter should be *[ins].[/ins]mp4 to match the file extension
Beasly
Also if you're looking for a particular episode check "smart ep. filter" and "episode number" and add the specific episode you're looking for..ex:4x1 or 04x01
jorgelr
Thanks for the tips - but still no luck. I had to right click and choose download to start a new torrent that just appeared in the feed.
Beasly
I've heard from the grapevine that magnet files are causing problems with rss..Someone that knows firsthand could verify. OR Depending on the feed you're using. Some do not give the direct download link in the feed..It Must be a direct link for utorrent to auto download.
