ciaobaby Posted September 28, 2012 Report Share Posted September 28, 2012 Fire up the client and recheck and restart the torrents, in groups of maybe five or ten at a time rather than all at once.I have a lot of my downloads on external drives but I don't have uTorrent starting with Windows simply because I can switch the USB hub between computer and TV.ALSO with external drives and torrent clients you should assign a fixed drive letter (Computer Management -> Drive Manager) to your devices, start with J: upwards that way they will ALWAYS have the same designation rather than the drive letters moving around if Windows starts without one drive connected. I went to the Files tab in uTorrent and right-clicked 'Relocate' on a file I new wasn't fully downloaded, and chose the appropriate location. Now it seems to be re-checking that file okay. For some reason, Set Download Location doesn't achieve anything. At this rate I'll have to 'Relocate' all the files individually, but it's probably better than starting again with the download.
