Hey.

I've been getting this problem for months now. It used to be only with really large torrents (a few dozen GBs), and only when downloading into my external HD.

But now I'm downloading a 750MB file into my normal HD, and I'm getting it.

The disk cache is 512MB, I remember changing it according to a guide I've found here. It seemed to have solved the problem back then.

Anyway, now every bit that's downloaded is added to the "cache" meter (under "speed->disk statistics"), speed is maxed, and the moment it reaches 512MB, download speed stops, and the cache becomes empty slowly.

3.3 Alpha 28120 is working well, no disk overload etc.

But it's having problems communicating with one tracker, IPTorrents. The torrent progress bars are red, and I'm pretty sure the speeds are low.

Since it's an alpha I can only wait I guess?

Greetings!

Try this:

1. Go to Options->Preferences->Advanced and make sure that diskio.no_zero=True.

2. Turn off UAC (diskio.no_zero=True does not work when UAC is turned On).

3. Restart Windows

4. PROFIT!
