pocusfocus
Dear all,I am a layman in matters of networking and I have a problem. Our company has offices in distant places and it is my job to distribute every week documents, whose size is often 100MB, sometimes even more. Question 1: Is the BitTorrent technology the easiest and the cheapest way to share files in a company? If yes, how can we make it, what hardware and software do we need?Question 2: (If no) What other means can we use to share easily our own documents between the offices? ciaobaby
"Push" distribution would be better for that kind of application, there the central server is responsible for updating the peers,so the system is not relying on the remote system to do the requesting just to "see" when or if, new data is there to pull downTake a look at CFEngine.
