SGDIronlord
Hey guys, New guy here.So I have been using uTorrent for already 2 years and as I can see my average Download Speed is around 180 - 200 kbps. Although it wont go past 200kbps but my ISP promised a download speed of 2MBps. I took a speedtest and the here are the results:Download Speed: 1.37 MBpsUpload Speed: 0.28 MBps.I'm currently using the port: 45682And it seems that when I try to change the port to any random port the speed instantly crashes to 0.5kbpsCurrently, my Bandwidth Managepent or uTp is disabled if that helps.Thanks. -SGD
ciaobaby
ISPs don't "promise" anything, their wording is "up to xx Mbps" 2MBps is 16Mbps is that what your connection is rated at?And it seems that when I try to change the port to any random port the speed instantly crashes to 0.5kbpsThat will be because the peer connections have to be renegotiated on the changed port. And regardless of what your Internet connection you can only download as fast as the active peers will allow.
