uTorrent causing router lose internet connection

I currently am using a D-Link DSL-2680 router and have found that for some reason the internet loses connection when uTorrent is active on my PC. The thing is though that it only happens at night. I can have uTorrent running all day and will not have a single loss of connection but come the evening it starts to drop out now and again with it being more often the later in the night it is. When it does drop, it tends not to reconnect when I turn the router off and on again until I turn uTorrent off.

As far as I am aware I have the latest firmware on the router.

Solving problems with your router is somewhat outside the remit of these forums.

But is sounds like a DNS server problem, try using Google DNS servers 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 instead of your ISPs nameservers, which may be rotated and until your router renews it's DHCP lease may not be reachable.
