pyc
Here I have the case of utorrent seeding ~7000 torrents, but the new ones which are arriving through RSS feed just won't start, even if there's no active torrents. I just have to stop seeding for fresh downloads to start (they are in downloading status), and it's always like that... I looked many times in preferences, there is nothing that really stops downloading. I'm ready to do anything to fix this, please help... It's so annoying. Thanks... DreadWingKnight
500 peer connections being attempted with a global limit of 150.You may doubt, but you're wrong.
pyc
I still don't get it. I have 7000 seeding torrents, some of which are occasionally active: means I have just a few peers connected. Where did you find number 500? And why 150 connections is not enough? DreadWingKnight
The way uTorrent allocates connections, your settings are the cause of your problem.

pyc
Tried raising some limits, but it still doesn't work... Please would you tell me your numbers so I can put the same?Thanks...
ciaobaby
The 500 connections comes from No. of active torrents x Maximum No. of connections per torrent 50x10 = 500 But your Global maximum No. of connections is 150 so you have 350 connections that will never be used because the global limit is reached before the computed value. DreadWingKnight
Short version:Trying to keep 7000 torrents seeding at once is COMPLETELY MORONIC.
pyc
Come on, enlighten me. I'm moron. Say why are you thinking like that? I do need to seed that much. And even then, my upload bandwidth is not used to full extent.
DreadWingKnight
And yet you're splitting what upload you have by over 7000*upload slots ways, rendering each individual upload slot completely useless.RUN FEWER TORRENTS AT ONCE, GET MORE UPLOAD SPEED.
