berry1 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 When connected with Btguard vpn to connect to torrents the download speed is between 10kb and 60kb maximum. Normally its from 800kb to 1.5mb download speed when connecting without the vpn. Them speeds are on the exact same torrent. Not sure why im getting so slow speeds now? - was expecting the vpn to slow the whole connection down but not that much :| Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ciaobaby Posted October 9, 2012 Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 You need to ask BTGuard, as obviously that is where the problem lies.Also have you checked the peer connections that can be, or are made when going via the VPN and when going direct?The rate you can download at is NOT solely governed by the connection speed alone.
