katiecarrot
Hi I have utorrent 3.2 and everything has been downloading fine until today, everything I try to download says Error: Write To Disk: Access Denied. What can I do to fix this? Thanks!
Mac-the-Knife
It could be a folder rights issue, this has been mentioned many times in the forums. Have copied a section from one of the forum users who had the same problem.right clicking where the file was being dloaded to and I found that it was going to the My Documents folder which is protected from all but administrator rights and that is why the error was coming up. katiecarrot
It seems that the location I have the files downloading to is Read-Only and even if I unset Read only, it goes back to Read only. I am the admin on my computer. Why is it doing this? What should I do?
DreadWingKnight
Double-check the security properties on the folder.

Usually you right-click on the desktop's shortcut and then select "run as administrator".

mastermae
i think you should only change the location of your downloaded files. put it on a different folder instead of the first foldergo to: preferences - directories , then browse for the new location of your downloaded files then try to download it again.hope this helps.
