Kyoto
Does uTorrent have a known problem with ZoneAlarm ?I've been using both products for years without problems. After a recent update to uTorrert 3.2.1 build 28086, I'm having (sluggish) response problems with the uTorrent interface. However, it doesn't appear to affect file transfers, nor does it overflow to other applications.
DreadWingKnight
Zonealarm has an EXTREMELY bad history with bittorrent clients in general. uninstall it.
Kyoto
What, no clues ?I've been running both, side by side, on several machines, for many years, over at least three different incarnations of windows. I've not experienced any form of a problem until the current version of uTorrent (installed this week). The advice I receive is simply 'uninstall ZoneAlarm'. I can't help but feel there should be torches and pitchforks involved here, somewhere..."Wait ! I was going to make espresso...."
DreadWingKnight
Considering you do have zonealarm and the original poster doesn't, you have thread hijacked. And if you search on these forums, you'll find that zonealarm is more trouble than it's worth.
