Multiple Crashes of Utorrent

Hi,

First of all I'd like to say that Utorrent is a great piece of software!!!

Second of all I got a bit of a problem with Utorrent since last week. It keeps crashing on me every now and then (couple of times a day) for some reason but I haven't been able to fix it.

I looked in the fora-topics, followed the "speed"-mini-guide, examined my computer with TuneUp Utilities, scanned for virusses etc. but couldn't find anything relevant.

Could you please help me out with this because I'm going sort of nuts here.

NB: I learned that you need the .dmp-files for examination to see what's causing the crashes but I don't know how to attach them to this message.

After each crash I ordered them to be sent to you folks but since you probable can't tell which are mine, I need to know how or to which e-mail-adress I can send the .dmp-files.

Have you tried deleting the settings.dat and settings.dat.old from %appdata%\utorrent?

Where can I find/delete these files? By running regedit or something? Or is it in the Utorrent-folder?

By the way, I'll try it as soon as I get home (this friday-afternoon) and I'll let you know if it worked!

Edit:

Afaik the DUMP files when a crash happends are not send to µtorrent but to microsoft!!

It is afaik not helpfull for the µtorrent developer to sending these dumpfile with the dialog that pops up!
