Crevette34 Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 First, I am sorry if my English is not entirely correct, i am French.I am on an unibody Macbook with Snow Leopard (version 10.6.8)Here is my problem :Since a few days (I changed no kind of settings or anything in Utorrent) all the torrents I add are systematically queued. No matter what I do (force download, try to move up in queue etc.), the torrent won't start to download.I am really not an expert on computers and even less concerning P2P downloading, that's why i am posting here. I hope someone could guide or advise me concerning specific settings or whatever !Thank you in advance.
BUB4390 Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Same problem here, I'm using the latest Mountain Lion OS and the latest version of uTorrent !!!!
DreadWingKnight Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 What specific version number?
2home Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 Having the same problem, I think since I updated to Version 1.7.13 (28436) two days ago. I have been running Transmission and uTorrent simultaneously for different sites for many months now without any problems. Last night I noticed uT was not finding any incoming connections. The error under the tracker tab says the Failure is caused by using an unapproved client - which of course it is not. Transmission continues to cook. It is running on a mid-2011 iMac i5 with 12 GB RAM, OS 10.8.2
twillis72 Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 I have been having a similar problem. I only use utorrent for one site and have never had a problem until a few weeks ago. Now when I click on a torrent to download it immediately goes to "seeding" but the status is at 0 percent. Utorrent shows a large number of seeds available but will cannot connect. I have tried everything (port forwarding, disabled firewall, etc.) If anyone has any suggestions or solutions I'd appreciate it. p.s. One other thing, I changed ISPs recently from AT&T Uverse to Time Warner.

ciaobaby Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 I'm in the same situation, only a little percentage of the torrents recently added are downloading, the major part is in status "queued".Fix your queuing settings to allow more active jobs.
beamerrx7 Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 Check Preferences -> Bandwidth -> Disable Transfer Cap.This will allow you to have unlimited amount of files downloaded instead of restricting it to I think the default is 200 GB in 31 days.

What is the differences between this setting and the active download limit ?Indeed initially i had :1 - Active transfer limit : 8 2 - Active download limit : 5I modified 2 to 50 but it doesn't change a thing, modifying the 1 does.Another test, modifying both value to 100. The download rate dropped from 850 Ko/s to 350 Ko/s, this represent less than the quarter of what i expect.Any help is welcomeNemrod
