sumithar Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 I am running u-torrent on Win 7. I have configured u torrent as follows (see picture). http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/23/utorrentsettings.pngBut when I test the port on canyouseeme.org, it shows port as not open.I am using ASUS RT-N13U router. I haven't done any port forwarding since I have gone with Random option. I don't see any setting on router for UPnP.Windows firewall is turned off. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/191/windowsfirewallsettting.pngISP is not blocking since when I try connected directly to broadband modem, port shows as open.Any thoughts? Thanks!
ciaobaby Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 I haven't done any port forwarding since I have gone with Random option. I don't see any setting on router for UPnP. You will NEVER get a inbound connection.Without UPnP or NAT-PMP to tell the router which port to forward and what IP to forward it to it is never going to happen.

If I understand, you are saying that with this particular router I don't have any way to leverage UPnP and I should try to do manual port forwarding, is it?I see no references to UPnP in the router's manual, unfortunately.
sumithar Posted November 18, 2012 Author Report Posted November 18, 2012 Yep, that's pretty much it.Thanks, I will do that.
