Hi please clarify how to use uconnect_enable options

Using utorrent-server-3.0-ubuntu-10.10-27079.x64 on Fedora 16. 64bits

uconnect_enable: true

# uconnect_enable (boolean):

# Default value: false. If true, the values of uconnect_username and

# uconnect_password are provided when authenticating to µTorrent Remote. This

# value is always applied from btsettings.txt; it is not saved in

# settings.dat.

#

uconnect_username: myusername

# uconnect_username (string):

# Default value: "". If defined, name that must be supplied (along with the

# password) when authenticating to µTorrent Remote. This value is always

# applied from btsettings.txt; it is not saved in settings.dat.

#

uconnect_password: mypasswd

# uconnect_password (string):

# Default value: "". If defined, password that must be supplied (along with

# the name) when authenticating to µTorrent Remote. This value is always

# applied from btsettings.txt; it is not saved in settings.dat.

if i set uconnect_enable: true

i get the folowing message in my log file

[00:24:51] Error contacting WebUI proxy service: HTTP Error 400

[00:24:51] Disconnected from WebUI proxy service

on https://remote.utorrent.com/

i get :

503: Remote client returned an error

Your remote uTorrent client is unavailable or returned an error. Is the client connected in the Remote Access preferences?

Finally worked. just by putting a uniq uconnect_username and uconnect_password. restart the server.

Do not use then username created in the uTorrent for Windows.

dominicharvey, where are you editing these options in your linux utserver?

I tried to find them in advanced settings and in the config files, but with no success....

Regards,
