Help with Utorrent Port

I need help with the listen port, i pressed the random port and it appears there are more than 1 port and i was wondering which port is the best and fastest. Also i've read the instructions on fowarding port, done that and disabled my firewall or added utorrent to my exception list and turned off the windows firewall and the maximum download speed is around 30kB/s. I also read the mini guide speed problems. What do i need to do to speed up my download.

The first time i downloaded utorrent the download speed was between 100kB/s-150kB/s and after using it for a few days the download speed decreased to about 30kB/s. Sometimes it goes up and then suddenly droppes again.

When i go to preference, i not sure which should be checked or unchecked and what to put in the box, can you give me a step by step instructions

i am also using Zonealarm internet security suit. i need to know how to add uttorent

1. Just choose a port between 10000 and 65535. Any one would do.

2. Use the Speed Guide and set your UPLOAD speed. That should take care of the preferences.

3. Try one of the following torrents and see what speeds you get.
