yowanvista
Upon launch the program freezes and doesn't respond. The uTorrent process can't be killed either and the only way is to restart the machine. Downgrading to 2.2.1 cures the problem but the issue appears again with anything higher than 3.2.x. yowanvista
Norton Internet SecurityI doubt so, uTorrent still freezes in safemode with networking. And why would Norton not 'cause' 2.2.1 to stop responding?
ciaobaby
I doubt so, uTorrent still freezes in safemode with networking.Norton's scanner will ALSO start in "Safe Mode with Networking"Because Norton's scanner interferes with disc I/O and P2P communication and is not very efficient at either, so creates latency, which can/does cause processes to overrun the available resources and "hang". ckdpc
mine does the same thing. I cannot get it to launch at all or even when I try to start a new torrent. I have 3.2.2 as well and I don't even know how to downgrade or fix it. I'm afraid that the files I have downloading will be gone.edit: nvm, I just reinstalled it and now no problems.
