Artyom K.
I set it up on my router and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes when I open network check in utorrent the port there is increased by 1 from the one I set up (for example I specified 55444 in router and utorrent settings but I see 55445 in this box) and it says that port is open (no matter which port I enter in the test). Most of the time when I open this test, there is my usual port in the box and after checking it says that port is closed (and able to download). What does this "+1" behavior mean? ciaobaby
The setup guide increments the port each time you run it because the router probably reports that the current port is "In Use"To stop that happening disable UPnP and NAT-PMP. Also, uncheck "[ ] Randomize port each start".
Artyom K.
If I disable both of them then the guide says:"Neither NAT-PMP nor UPnP is enabled. Please check your preferences" and shows me red cross.
ciaobaby
Forward the port manually and don't run the guide.http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58404
Artyom K.
I thought it's supposed to test the settings. Anyway websites say that port is closed when I check it. I guess something is wrong with my router.
ciaobaby
I thought it's supposed to test the settings.Yes BUT not all routers support UPnP or NAT-PMP so may not/will not respond to the communication and commands.
