Logan80
The download speeds are fine, but the program itself is incredibly slow when it's downloading. It just murders my computer whenever it's doing anything other than sitting idle.Previous versions were perfectly fine and never caused any trouble, it would run minimized and download/upload without any effect on my computer besides bandwidth. As it is now, it uses at least 50% of my CPU Usage even just downloading one torrent. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for this?

Logan80
The only things I've changed are unlimited upload and download speeds (always had that, even with prior versions), 5 max active torrents, 2 downloads max active at a time. The other changes made were recently, and they were based on information I found here about removing the advertisements in the Advanced section of the Preferences. Logan80
I just read some of that thread you linked, seems like it's a known issue they are working on.Most people seemed to be having trouble with Window 7, I'm using Windows XP and having trouble. It's really insane, it takes about 5-10 seconds to click on anything inside of uTorrent, like to open the Preferences I click Options, wait 5 seconds, click preferences, wait 5 seconds, get what you asked for and click cancel, then wait 5 seconds. It's like the entire program is just SUPER sluggish whenever it's downloading anything.

Kitsoran
Unlimited download and upload is a very bad setting.
Logan80
It seems like 3.3 Beta has made a significant difference. It's still slow to minimize and maximize and slow to react when I click on different menus or torrents while it's running, but it is much better than before. Also, there is nothing wrong with unlimited speeds if you have a decent connection. I download at ~3-4mbps all the time in uTorrent and it doesn't affect my other internet activities in any way. Why would unlimited be a bad thing?
