Phone app beta question

Is there some way to download directly to my sd card rather than to my phones memory, as it doesn't show that option when I click the torrent.

I have a Galaxy note.

I have read that I can root my phone to automatically do this, but I am worried that rooting my phone will invalidate its warranty. I cant seem to find any option in the beta version to download direct to sd.

Please help

system settings > storage > storage configuration > use internal storage

Should set the SD card to be used as internal memory.

then no storage configuration, can you elaborate please

Ok I don't have a Note 2 to play with.

Well I can get to storage but in there it only shows what is there no settings to change anything
