Legitimate torrent sources

Hi folks.

I am brand new to torrents and making plenty of mistakes, but learning by my stuff ups.

One thing that's really frustrating me is finding a good source for torrents.

Surely there are places I can search for what I want and then just download the torrent file without all the con-man crap ... like trying to get me to run an exe file "installer", or wanting my credit card details "for verification purposes only", or shuffling me through porn and gambling sites.

If this is the true state of the current torrent scene I might as well give up.

Any pointers much appreciated.

What you download and where you download from is not a uTorrent problem and outside the forum scope.

I'd suggest reading at torrentfreak.com and other such places.
