Assassin X
I should note I don't look at porn or downloaded anything illegal. But I still on rare occasions get a virus (which gets blocked obviously). But recently I got malware that starting giving me the BSOD on WIn 7. Is there any way to protect against this or is it just a risk you take every time you download? Thanks for any help!
p1r4t3_777
Use Kaspersky.I've used it for the past 4/5 years and it never let anything in. Also rarely shows false positives at certain .exe's with chiptunes But even with it you gotta be careful. Rely on your common sense and avoid fakes. I recommend using private trackers instead of public because of this.
Assassin X
Ah ok thanks. I use Spyware Bot, Maleware Bytes Anti-Malware, Scotty and Microsoft Security Essentials. But I've head about Kaspersky and Nod 32. I may switch to them. I tend to download from the same popular guy every time. Its why I am surprised I got anything.
