Hello,

I've been trying to change the color of my torrent status, so I created a .btskin file as it mentioned in the customization part of uTorrent. I tried changing the colors, but it has no affect. An example is listed below.

How can I change the colors of uTorrent? I would appreciate it very much if someone could respond with an explanation on how to do this.

Lastly, does anyone know of a FREE color converter to convert the colors of the screen to bin or hex numbers. Most of the ones I looked at are Freeware and stop working after 30 days. I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

Thank You.

all You need is the btskin file from utorrent installation folder you can open it with winrar or winzip, right click open with than select winrar or winzip, unrar or unzip the btskin file and inside you'll find a file that can be opened with notepad and with a little color hex you can put what colors you want inside and finally put the files back in the archive and open it with u torrent and done :D

1. Take a screen shot by pressing the "Print Screen" key.

2. Paste the image into MS Paint.

3. Use the "Color Picker" tool to select the color whose color code you want to get.

4. Click the "Edit colors" button.

5. In the "Edit Colors" dialog panel, you will see the RGB codes of the lastly selected color.

I understand that but you need to know the HEX color number. Does MS Paint do that as well?

Thank You.
