MophixHD
A while ago I was having the same problem I am having now in which uTorrent wouldn't install. At the time a solution was given which was to create an empty settings.dat file in the same place of uTorrent. Now I am having the problem when uTorrent deletes itself from my computer when I stop using it (wtf?!). Is there any way I can actually get uTorrent to actually install so that I can use it without problems like things used to be?!

lovetour
By deletes itself, tdo you mean that if you navigate to the folder that contained utorrent.exe and your settings.dat (and related) files, the folder is empty? Or even gone? Or do you just mean that there is no icon for uTorrent in your Start menu or on your desktop?

I was able to install it last night because I found a backup of my uTorrent folder which has a settings.dat (uTorrent run if there's a settings.dat file where the installation file is).
