sata
HelloI'm experiencing an issue with µTorrent in its latest stable version, 3.2.3.Whenever I add large files to the download list, my download speed becomes ridiculously slow. I'm not referring to the dl speed of each large file, I'm speaking about the overall download speed.E.g. the overall dl speed is 400kb/s but when I add two or three 15gb torrents, the speed goes down to 10kb/s.The issue goes even if these large files are queued or stopped. "Pre-allocate the files" is turned off, disk cach is at max (1800mb) and all temp & finished torrents are saved in a dedicated hard drive, which is far from being full.I noticed that things went better if I cleared some space on my Windows hard drive, where the .torrents are located. But that only lasts until I add more torrents...So maybe this problem is linked to the disk cache bug, as discussed in https://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=113600&p=1 ?Thanks for your help. ciaobaby
The bigger the download, the bigger the number of rare pieces needed is likely to be.Are you adding the new jobs at the top of queue?Have you tried moving the "big" jobs lower in the list
